Hi Lowellites! Are you curious about the world of medicine and intrigued by the complexities of rare diseases? Our organization, Medical Mystery Solved (MMS), aims to demystify medical knowledge by exploring real-life cases and fostering a better understanding of rare diseases. These conditions often go unnoticed or misunderstood, but they have a profound impact on patients' lives. By working together, we can help bring more attention to the challenges faced by those living with rare diseases and advocate for adequate care and treatment options. Our mission goes beyond just learning. We're also committed to raising funds for critical research, so that advancements can be made in the diagnosis, treatment, and care of these patients. We meet bi-weekly on Thursdays in Room 21, where we dive into medical case studies, host discussions, and collaborate on projects. This is a great opportunity to connect with fellow students, share your interests, and engage in hands-on problem-solving that will challenge and inspire you.
