YCE

YCE(Youth for Community Engagement) was founded in 1972 in response to the large number of Chinese immigrants arriving in San Francisco. We promote self-development, communication skills, and a positive attitude to help immigrant youth and elderly adapt to a new country. Lowell, along with nine other high schools, make up this branch under CYC. Not only do we provide yearlong volunteer opportunities, we also collaborate with other schools during these events. We participate in Mid-Autumn Festival, New Year's Parade, Night Markets, and much more! Feel free to check us out every 2nd and 4th Wednesday of every month at 2:35PM in room 70! All are welcome and snacks would be provided too. See you all there!
