I’m excited for the chance to organize all the activities that come with our Junior year as well as bringing you all more novel and creative ideas.

Public Relations

Zhenye Zhao

Dear all sophomore students(rising juniors) throughout Lowell: For our social media page, we really need to pay attention to other platforms on Tiktok, Threads and YouTube. Over the past 2 years, these platforms have been lagging behind, like you’re living with eternal poverty. For instance, getting into college with a holistic approach, not just being the best grades in class, but also needing extracurricular, internships and essays. It won’t be as cool if we were to put all our eggs into one basket, spreading all out represents diversification. Aside from social media, I can also design new merch such as pants, hats and possibly backpacks.

Emily Ma

Hey! I’m Emily Ma, and I’m running for your Junior LSA 2027 Public Relations. If you didn’t know already, I have been serving as the LSA 27 Public Relations since freshman year so I have been able to familarize myself with how LSA works. In the past 3 semesters, I’ve been updating our Instagram with graphics and creating anything you’ve seen from LSA 2027. In addition to PR, I’ve been serving as the board liaison for JPROM 27, ensuring that the planning process to a memorable JPROM runs smoothly! Outside of LSA, I am extremely passionate about art. With a running total of 120 hours, I've been spending my breaks as an art camp intern, supporting kids aged 7+ with their paintings. My qualifications and commitment combined with creativity makes me the perfect candidate for your LSA 27 PR. Don’t forget to vote the week of April 28!

Historian

Leo Zhou

Hello everyone! My name is Leo Zhou, and I am running to be your 2027 Board Historian. To me, being Historian goes beyond my work behind the camera. Not only do you capture memories, you create them as well. To that end, experience does matter. Knowing how to navigate the nuances of board processes is something that can only come from having navigated the system already. That is why I am committed to using the institutional knowledge and skills I have built during my past two terms as Historian to ensure that our events are accessible and enjoyable for all. Vote for me, Leo Zhou, as your 2027 Historian to make junior year nothing short of extraordinary.

Like the Lowell gym quotes, “Common people can reach uncommon goals”. As one of the tutors of CSF Tutoring, I strive to help others reach their fullest potential. As your SBC Community Liaison, I would use my experience from meetings like the Principal's Advisory Council and the PTSA to contribute to meetings with groups like the School Site Council, PTSA, and the district-wide Student Advisory Council. I would share and receive news about the school to ensure everyone is informed. Your needs and wants are my top priority, and I will ensure these are properly communicated by asking affinity groups or even randomly surveying students in the hall like you (if you’re free, of course)! To top it off, I would plan and organize Social Awareness Week! Please support Emily Pan as SBC Community Liaison!

Emily Gorodetskiy

Hello Cardinals! My name is Emily Gorodetskiy, and I am running to be your Community Liaison for the 2025-2026 school year. For those who don’t know, I was the Co-Community Liaison this year. During these past few months, I have helped organize Social Awareness Week (SAW), the Principal Advisory Council, and managed internal matters between LSA/SBC and other organizations such as the PTSA. One accomplishment I am especially proud of is creating an opportunity for clubs to participate in the Principal Advisory Council, allowing them to advocate on behalf of their club and be recommended to the grants committee of the LAA. Additionally, I served as the point person between the LSA/SBC and the School Site Council. I hope to continue my work and make further improvements to the Lowell community. If you have any suggestions, please email me at emgorodetskiy@s.sfusd.edu.
